I also encourage you to ask me any questions you have about therapy or my approach. I find that these consultations In your initial appointment, I will get a better sense of what is going on for you, and we will talk about how I can help. Research shows that a good fit and a collaborative relationship between client and therapist is an important factor in how well therapy works, so this is a time for me to gather as much information as possible, and for us to get to know one another.
By the end of this initial appointment, we will either schedule an ongoing, weekly appointment, or I will provide you with recommendations for other treatment options if there are other providers who may be better able to meet your needs.
